What is CBD used for?CBD and the cannabis plant have been used for centuries globally for medicinal attributes, including but not limited to- anxiety, pain, insomnia, inflammation, and nausea. Regrettably, due to propaganda produced in the United States starting in the 1950's, the cannabis plant renamed "marijuana" in the media to make it sound more like a dangerous and foreign drug, it has faced undue scrutiny, and its availability suppressed. Are your products tested by independent labs for authenticity and legality?Yes. Liberty Botanicals ONLY carries products that we have tested at independent facilities, and that DO NOT EXCEED the Federal Guidelines per the Farm Act of 2018, which states: In December of 2018, the 2018 Farm Bill was signed into law. It removed hemp, defined as cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.) and derivatives of cannabis with extremely low concentrations of the psychoactive compound delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) (no more than 0.3 percent THC on a dry weight basis), from the definition of marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
